We have various good news stories about the latest companies who have been busy supporting our local community groups though corporate volunteering.
The team from Enterprise DB spent their day supporting South Hill Park Pre School, despite all the challenges they faced … Despite torrential rain and a power cut they still had a productive day indoors and achieved a lot of hard work to support the school. Painting has now been completed and carpets cleaned all in readiness for the start of the new school year and autumn term.
Cegos spent an energetic and inspiring time at Just Around the Corner (JAC) supporting with various outdoor tasks. They were split into four teams, each team having its own task; planting shrubs, stone clearing to make way for wild flowers, removal of logs and branches and weeding newly planted hedge boarders. A great time was had by the team along with an opportunity to learn about the work that JAC delivers.
At the start of August, Skillsoft spent a day volunteering with Berkshire Women’s Aid. The team spent their time painting, decorating, gardening and performing general maintenance at one of their refuges, as well as learning more about the great work that the charity does. 
A team from EVS Broadcasting spent a day at Jealotts Hill Community Landshare carrying out a variety of horticultural tasks, preparing the netting on the fruit cages for winter, adding supports for pumpkins, removing five dead trees and completing general tidying of the site. A very productive day was had by all, and the sun shone!
