Who We Are
Involve Community Services is a local charity which supports the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector (VCSE) in Wokingham Borough, Bracknell Forest and the surrounding areas. The VCSE, non-profit, or third sector is extremely vast and contributes approximately £20 billion to the UK economy each year. At Involve, we work hard to help the local third sector to develop and grow.
What We Do
We are an infrastructure support organisation which essentially means that we work to help other charities to develop and grow. We do this by providing development and support services for organisations, as well as various community wellbeing projects. We aim to support causes that benefit the community and our hope is to act as a beacon the third sector can rely on for all kinds of important information, resources and advice.

Involve Annual General Meeting 📅
Please do join us virtually on Wednesday 18th November at 10am to hear more about Involve Community Services and our achievements from the past year. The agenda for the AGM will include a presentation of the Financial Summary for 2025/26, the Chair’s Report, and the minutes of the last AGM. Those who sign up to attend will be sent the link to join the AGM directly closer to the time of the event along with the relevant papers and documentation. These documents are also available to download from our website.
Non-Profit Networking Event 🤝
We are excited to share that we have set the date for our next voluntary and community sector networking event! On Wednesday 18th November , from 10am to 12noon, we will be at Wokingham Town Hall. This is a chance for Wokingham Borough non-profits to connect, collaborate and grow your impact. Come along, discover the support and opportunities on offer to your organisation, build strong local partnerships and share your ideas and insights with colleagues. Please save the date and RSVP via Eventbrite to secure your place!
Raise Free Funds For Your Cause This Festive Season 🎁
Local non-profit organisations are invited to raise funds at zero cost by taking part in the Community Christmas Draw, organised by Easthampstead Rotary Club. Tickets (sold in books of five at £1 each) are provided to groups free of charge, and 100% of the money you raise will be returned to your group following the draw on 21st December. To participate, simply appoint a main contact, decide how many tickets you can sell, and collect them from Involve’s Bracknell or Wokingham offices. Start selling tickets to your supporters and turn in your counterfoils by 17th December. Ticket buyers will be in with the chance to win cash prizes up to £500!
Bracknell Christmas Toy Bank 🎄
Do you have toys you no longer want or need? Donate them to the Toy Bank, who will once again be providing children most in need with Christmas presents. Donations are accepted at the Bracknell Courthouse from 9th November until 11th December (Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm) and at the Brew Café on Saturdays 14th, 21st and 28th November (10am-2pm). Brand new and used toys accepted, but must be complete and/or in gifting condition. Thank you for your support!
Award & Funding Boost for Green & Active Scheme! 🌱
We are so happy to share that we are celebrating a double milestone for local people and nature! Our Courtyard Garden in the Bracknell town centre has been awarded a Level 4 ‘Thriving’ achievement in the Royal Horticultural Society’s and Thames & Chilterns In Bloom’s prestigious It’s Your Neighbourhood initiative. We are proud to have our little wildlife haven be recognised for its vibrant plant life, eco-friendly innovations, and our brilliant volunteers! On top of that, we are thrilled to announce that our Green & Active scheme has secured 5 years of continued funding from the National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund! Together, the RHS recognition and new long-term investment mark a powerful moment of growth for Involve and the Green & Active Scheme.

If you or someone you know has a cancer diagnosis and wants to join a friendly group of like-minded locals experiencing similar journeys, be sure to check out what we’ve got going!
