We are thrilled to share that local businesses generously gifted an incredible 2,270 hours of volunteering in 2024! These corporation’s dedication to activities such as weeding, clearing, planting, trimming, sowing, and painting has been invaluable to local charities and organisations.
Inspired by this support, 
we have developed a new strategy to enhance corporate volunteering. Companies looking for group volunteering days can now check out our 2025 timetable of opportunities which is tailored for groups and individuals, both indoors and outdoors, and focuses on caring for the community and environment in and around the Bracknell Forest borough.

All environmental tasks on our rota directly contribute to the Bracknell Forest Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP) and Climate Change Strategy (CCS). The BAP focuses on conserving biodiversity across six habitat themes, while the CCS aims to reduce carbon emissions and lead community efforts against climate change.
To accomplish this essential work, we need financial support as well as volunteer participation, especially as our Green & Active operations will be unfunded into the future. Some organisations have designated budgets for CSR days, so please check what your company has in place. Otherwise, please consider a minimum contribution of £10 per participant.
If financial support is a challenge for your company, please reach out to us. Donations should be made to Involve Community Services (bank details will be provided when you complete our registration form), and we will ensure 100% of funds go towards supporting BAP and CCS objectives, as well as our Green & Active work, including:
Establishing community orchards- Installing wildlife habitats
- Enhancing ponds and river habitats
- Revitalizing wetlands
- Creating heathland areas
- Conducting educational sessions
- Installing owl boxes
- Protecting swift and house martin nests
- Enhancing wildflower verges
- Purchasing tools and equipment
- Acquiring plants and seeds
- Improving community spaces for wildlife
