involve’s New Training Cancellation Policy

Starting from April 3rd 2017, involve Community Services are implementing a Cancellation Policy for their training courses. Hiring trainers and using equipment & extra energy costs us a lot of money, so when people cancel last minute or don’t show up, it uses up a lot of our funding.

Therefore, we have decided to implement a cancellation policy wherein we will be charging for people who do not turn up to training courses (free or paid). As such the following fees will apply:

More than 14 working days (defined as Monday to Friday) before the commencement of the agreed services the customer can cancel and a full refund will be given if they have paid in advance or an alternative date will be offered free of charge according to the
customers wishes.

Between 14 – 6 working days before the commencement of the agreed services a refund of 50% of the course fee is given if they have
paid in advance and no alternative free of charge replacement date will be offered

5 working days (or less) before the commencement of the agreed services 100% of the course fee is made, no refunds will be given and no alternative free of charge replacement date will be offered

Where involve community services offer a course free of any charge and the participant reserves a place yet fails to cancel the
reservation according to terms above or subsequently fails to attend the course on the designated day a charge of £75 will be levied to
the participant.

W ppreciate that these terms will not be viewed favourably by many, however it is simply not sustainable to keep hosting courses that people do not attend, it costs us money that we don’t have and we must turn this situation around for the sake of all those people that we help with the great courses that we run.
