involve Chosen As Bracknell Town Mayor’s Charity 🏆

Councillor Michael Titheridge was elected as Bracknell Town Mayor on 12th May 2020. Each new Mayor selects a charity to support throughout their Mayoral year.

“My wife Sally and I decided to support involve as for a long time I have been aware of how they help and provide support small local charities and groups. Supporting involve seems like an amazing way to potentially reach out and help many more groups and the individuals they support. Many of these groups would also benefit from your time; one person can really make a difference. Volunteering can be so rewarding and I would encourage everyone to do help if they can.” says Bracknell Town Mayor.

Councillor Titheridge has chosen to support involve, whose mission is to empower and strengthen the voluntary, community and faith sectors in Bracknell Forest.

Philip Cook, involve General Manager says: “Involve community services are delighted to have been selected by the new Bracknell Town Mayor, Councillor Michael Titheridge, as his Charity of the Year. Recognising these are different times at the moment we will be putting together an exciting selection of virtual and live activities and events for people to join in with. We want to keep a theme of community and neighbourliness and as well as fundraising we’ll be looking to find ways to keep people active in their community, volunteering and making a difference. If we can raise some money along the way for involve and community groups this will be a fantastic achievement.”
