New Multi-Agency Safeguarding Arrangements
The publication of new multi-agency arrangements to safeguard children marks an important stage of development within the loca artnership and sees significant changes to existing arrangements. However, this is being built on strong foundations that exist in all areas of safeguarding and by aligning the work undertaken to safeguard children and adults, those involved aim to ensure robust arrangements to keep vulnerable people safe regardless of their age.
Please click here to find details of the new multi-agency safeguarding arrangements that have been developed by Safeguarding Partners in Bracknell Forest. These build on strong partnership working that has previously supported separate approaches to safeguarding children and adults. In aligning our strategic coordination for all aspects of safeguarding, we aim to further strengthen the collaboration between local partners as well as those supporting multi-agency working across the region.
The coproduction of our new arrangements has been led by statutory partners and reflects the consultations undertaken with our wider partners. This new approach to safeguarding has been formally endorsed by Thames Valley Police, East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group and Bracknell Forest Council, with the support of its Executive Members for Children, Young People & Learning and Adult Services, Health and Housing.
