Of interest to small UK charities who support needy or deserving people including those with physical or mental disabilities and the disadvantaged.
The Archer Trust is a UK Christian charitable grant-making trust who support organisations working in areas of high unemployment and deprivation.
They do not support:
- Individuals (including GAP applicants)
- Conservation, heritage and environmental projects
- Conversions for disabled access
- Charities supporting animals
They prioritise organisations working in areas of high unemployment/deprivation and favour charities who make good use of volunteers.
Grants vary from £250 to £3,000.
There is no deadline for grants however replies may take some time because the trustees only meet twice a year, normally in March and September.
