Are you low risk and bored of staying at home? Want to know how you can help out those in need during this difficult situation? We are here to help…

Volunteering during a crisis?

We have been very lucky to have had an immense response from local people who have signed up to help our community during the Covid-19 crisis. We at Healthwatch Bracknell Forest, involve Community Services and Bracknell Forest Borough Council thank you all.

Currently there are no urgent needs for additional volunteers to respond to the current situation but there are many more volunteering opportunities to help your community during this time! Check out our new page outlining ways you can get involved during and in the aftermath of the lockdown in order to help your community:

If you wanted to register an interest to be contacted in the future about any such call outs for help then please sign up to involve Community Services Volunteering Pool here:
If you would rather discuss volunteering you can call involve Community Services and speak to the Volunteer Services Manage n 01344 304404.

You can see the great impact COVID-19 volunteers have been having in Bracknell Forest via the video below and/or by clicking here to view a recent update report by the Community Response Team.

In Wokingham Borough, The Community Hub has been set up to organise food and essential item deliveries to people self-isolating or otherwise in need of help during the Covid-19 crisis. You can find out more information on the community Facebook Page:
They have been overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of spirit shown by literally hundreds of residents of Wokingham Borough and are currently no longer able to take any more volunteer applications.
